Four Weeks Notice

Four Weeks Notice

This short is more of an extended sketch than a film, wherein lies its problem.

The premise is one of a man serving out his notice period as a boyfriend after it’s served on him by his girl. There’s humour here - of a similar sort to Jason Reitman's short film Consent - but not really enough to sustain the film’s eight-minute runtime.

The acting is fine and the idea quirky but it needs more meat on its bones or to say what it has to say in a shorter timeframe.
